Getting commissioned to print these two models for a local chess tournament, client wants them in gold and silver.

The issue here is that I’m not sure if I should get some gold and silver silk filament and print them that way or print them in white, post process them and paint them.

I’m afraid of the overhangs while printing these in gold and silver silk pla, I’ve done some silk prints and I feel they are impossible to sand and cure imperfections because they might lose shine in the process.

On the other hand, if I go with the post processing option, (sanding and priming and using filler) I’m not sure if the paint is going to hold or be scratchable or look cheap? What do you guys think?

TLDR: Silk gold and silver pla or white + post processing?
