I am currently deciding between the P1S Combo and the Creality K1 Max and have come across tons of people praising the Bambus for their print quality and their ease of use, claiming they are on a totally different level, while having found almost nothing applauding the K1s.

To people who have some degree of experience in both: is the praise justified, or is it just the result of the immense popularity and sudden hype around the brand? Is the quality and reliability so much better than the general competition?
